Meritum Independent Living is a Community Care Agency based in Kent which offers support and assistance to elderly, disabled and people with Mental Health needs.

Our aim is to provide all our clients with a high standard of care and support within their own home or home environment in order to maximise their potential. Our staff are all trained to a very high level, either NVQ 2, 3 or 4 and are regularly monitored and assessed.

Meritum began in 1994 trading as Ashford Homecare. In 2000 a branch in Maidstone was opened. It was decided that in order to meet the future demands and expectations as well as meeting the ever changing Care environment a common name and a revised company image was needed. Thus Ashford and Maidstone homecare became Meritum Independent Living.

The company has been a preferred provider for KCC since it began and has regular excellent Care Standard Inspection reports.
